AGM
This year’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 22nd May at 6pm. All members are encouraged to attend and have an input in the running of their club. There will not be a normal club session this evening as the meeting is expected to finish after a normal session would have started. However, there will be a (free) shortened duplicate session run after the meeting finishes, with a host available.

The Lunch Bunch
After three immensely successful and enjoyable lunch bunch sessions, this is now shaping up to be a regular fixture for your calendar! The next event is on Wednesday 12th June, and will be a bit of a fishy event this time. Booking is advised - contact Dorothy Myers for more information.

Oxford Successes at Cheltenham
Several Oxford players met with success at the Cheltenham Congress over the bank holiday weekend. Chris and Jane Whelan qualified for and finished midway in the A final, and Carol Benzie and Irina Woods finished in the top half of the B final. Oxford members Aleksandar Lishkov, Cathy Rowland and David Bygott won the evening Open Teams event, and Aleksandar and Cathy finished 6th in the Swiss Teams with teammates Mary-Ann Sheehy and Christopher Whitehouse, losing only one match. Well done to all!
