NICKO Teams
Teams shall be selected to represent OBC in the National Inter-Club Knockout (NICKO). Entry to the NICKO shall be made by the Match Secretary and paid for by the OBC. OBC shall aim to field at least three teams.
Team selection should be made by the Match Secretary, in consultation with other committee members. Teams should comprise players whose primary allegiance is to OBC, i.e. Wessex League players. Eligible teams normally include the winners of the Rose Bowl and the Eve Stockwell Bowl, but only if these comprise players whose primary allegiance is to OBC. If the winners of these events are not eligible, or do not wish to compete, other representatives should be selected according to ability, i.e. teams that are most likely to progress in the competition.
The process of selection should be overseen by the Match Secretary, in consultation with Wessex League captains. Assessment of ability should be made in a similar way to Wessex League team selection.
